The Luck of the Spanish

Antonio Banderas was bragging the other day that he is like a good luck charm for co-stars.

According the the sexy male star, so many people have gone on to great fame after sharing the screen with him.

"I bring a lot of luck to my co-stars. Catherine Zeta Jones got her big break with Zorro, Salma Hayek with Desperado, Madonna got a Golden Globe for Evita," he mused aloud.

The guy does have a point.

But what about the biggest co-star in his life - his wife, Melanie Griffith?

Has she even been in a film since marrying this powerful good luck charm?

No one has even seen the poor woman, except for pictures in tabloids documenting her plastic surgery and how it's gone so horribly wrong.

So maybe it's time to coin the term, "Luck of the Spanish". This is how it works: Every woman you work with goes on to great fame and success, whereas the woman you marry, well, she becomes the poster child for bad plastic surgery and her career goes straight down the toilet.

So ladies, you may want to keep this mind if you're dating a hot, rising Spanish star. Sleep with him all you want, act with home on-screen, but never, ever marry him.
